Mission Statement
The Child Care & Development Center [CCDC] was established in 1988 as a ministry of the First Presbyterian Church to provide quality child development and care for the children of Windber and surrounding communities.
Philosophy
Our goal is to promote and provide a Christian environment for the children in our care. Our trained and skilled staff provide physical, social, emotional and intellectual stimulation and activities for children from 6 weeks to eleven years of age.
Credentials
The CCDC is licensed through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Public Welfare, Day Care Division. We provide a level of care that surpasses the minimum standards set by the state as well as the expectations of our clients. Employees pass background clearances for criminal and abuse records.
